Music Video Planning: 60 Second Pitch and Audience Feedback

To finalise my idea for my music video, I had a group discussion with my target audience in order to establish which idea will be more intriguing and suited to the indie genre. Collectively we decided that Idea 1 (A troublesome relationship featuring very elevated and extremely low emotions. Both of them need comfort but aren't exactly in love and heavily rely on alcohol) would suit the song more effectively.

To generate more concepts for the music video and to create a rough story plot, I and my target audience created a mind map. I want to have my target audience members as involved as possible; this ensures that every aspect that they are involved with appeals to my target audience, the indie genre. The mind map is illustrated below:

With the mind map, I highlighted the parts that I thought would work best in my music video. From this I formed a rough, initial story line featuring the main parts I want to include within the video.
Here is my 60 second pitch entailing the plot for my music video:

Once I finished my 60 second pitch, I presented it to my target audience in order to gain feedback, both positive and critical. Here is their feedback:

The feedback that I received was extremely positive and showed that my music video idea would appeal to my target audience.
