CLONING
In my music video, there is a part in which I want to use an editing technique called cloning - this is when two or more images of the same person is evident on the screen at the same time. I will use this method during one of the flashback scenes, where the audience can see the main protagonist from the past with him also appearing in the background, in the present time, watching his past self.
I was inspired to use cloning in my music video by Kylie Minogue's 'Come into my world'.
To be able to effectively use this in my music video, I experimented with the cloning technique on Adobe Premiere Pro.
SPEED RAMPING
I want to be able to learn how to speed ramp in order to effectively manipulate tempo and speed. This will be a convenient tool to learn as I want to use slow motion in my music video as it highlights the dramatic tension of the scene as well as heightening the senses of viewers.
To be able to effectively use this in my music video, I experimented with speed ramping on Adobe Premiere Pro.
